

Several factors can contribute to errors in segregation.

Segregation is the key step in the management of BW inadequacies herecompromise all other steps. When BW is produced, the professionals who handle it are solely responsible forsegregating it according to its characteristics and disposing of it in adequatereceptacles. According to the resolutions adopted in Brazil, (1 -2 ) BW is divided into five groups: Group A (infectious), Group B (chemical),Group C (radioactive), Group D (common), and Group E (piercing and cutting). His book is considered one of the most pioneering books in the field of database systems in the world for 25 years. Al-Masri is the author of “Basics of Database Systems” (with Shamkant Navath, published by Pearson, 7th edition, 2015). He is also Professor and Associate Chair in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington, Arlington, Texas.
